If you want to commission a painting or drawing, you probably would like to know how that process would work. You can read the basic outline of the project right here.
Discuss the details
Send me an email or use my contact form, if you are sure about commissioning a wildlife piece.
We can discuss the details there. Do you want a painting or drawing? At what size? When do you need it? What will that cost?
First deposit
If you are happy with all conditions, I require a 30% deposit for a piece.
This can be payed by PayPal or bank transfer. You will receive all the required details via email.
Finding the reference
You look for some photographs to use for reference. Make sure you get the photographer's permission to use them. Or I can find the right one needed to create the composition. I have good connections to multiple wildlife photographers, so if we can't find the perfect image for you, I might be able to send one on a mission for you.
Once you have indicated your preference I will be ready to start on your commission.
Evaluation & adjusting
I will keep you updated on my progress and send you photographs to check during the process. If you think anything needs tweaking along the way, I will happily adjust accordingly for you.
All done!
When the artwork is completed and you are completely satisfied, you will be asked to pay the remaining 70%.
Once the payment is received, I will send your commissioned art piece to you.
